Ivan Semashev is a comedian, actor, and producer based in Basel, Switzerland. Starting out in traditional theatre, he dove into stand-up comedy in 2018 and has been pursuing it since then. He’s energetic, passionate, and has a vast sense of humour - from contemporary satire, to personal family anecdotes (some of which may even veer into some darker places). Whatever the topic is, be prepared to be taken on an emotional roller coaster of laughs!

Paulina Pathare is a mixed bag of nationalities and humour. She started her journey on the stage with theatre and improv, until she finally heeded the siren call of stand-up comedy in 2021. They joke about their Indian-Polish family life, being queer, mental health and world history. One day, they will become pope. From silly to interesting to darker themes, Paulina will take you by the hand and make sure you enjoy the wild ride through their thoughts.

Mascot

Otto is the mascot of Otter Comedy. They have yet to go on stage to perform themselves, but are a tremendous fan of comedy, and are extremely happy to have a comedy club named after them.
